The Apple iPad mobile app for OBIEE 11g is now available for download on the appstore. It shows a date of May 9th. This suggests that it was submitted within a few days of when the OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 release was made available on OTN. It would then have cleared the appstore review process in the usual time of a week. I’ve been checking fairly regularly since the release and its only showed up recently.
You can download it by searching for “Oracle USA” in the appstore or directly via its URL.
For now I just wanted to share the news. Next I’ll connect it up to one of the lab’s OBI 11g VMs with the full sample app to take it for a spin.

I’ve downloaded OBIEE for ipad and put in the server and port but it won’t connect. What else am I missing?
The OBIEE iPhone/iPad app requires version 11.1.1.5 or higher of the BI Server. Assuming you’ve got an install similar to this
one.
Then verify that you’ve turned off SSL in the app since it is not enabled on the server by default.
Verify your network connectivity as well as the server connection information and user/password by test connecting to the server with the iPad web browser.
I hope this helps.
Hi, we have OBIEE11g 11.1.1.5, we access the BI through weblogic server from Internet, but the Oracle BI Mobile don’t display the pages of the dashboard on the iPad and iPhone, only display the first page and the rest are not, which may be the problem?
Thanks.
I also changed the default port number from 80 to 7001 in the iPad app configuration page based on my install and that did the trick (in addition to turning off SSL).
